Job DescriptionWe are seeking a
Senior BID Resource / Data Solution Designer with a strong operations background and deep expertise in modern data platforms. This role requires the ability to work closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into scalable, enterprise-grade data solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business and operations teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and guide implementation of scalable data architectures and analytics solutions.
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution through strong communication and stakeholder management.
- Provide system design guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineering teams.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and technical teams to convert business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise data governance, standards, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience- Strong understanding of operational processes and business intelligence/data analytics ecosystems.
- Experience working with BI/Dashboarding tools such as MicroStrategy (MSTR), Qlik, and other enterprise reporting platforms.
- Deep understanding of data flow from enterprise data warehouses to BI and reporting tools.
- Strong expertise in AWS, including:
- AWS Lambda
- AWS Step Functions
- Serverless architectures
- Hands-on experience with:
- Snowflake
- Databricks
- DBT (Data Build Tool)
- Proven experience building and orchestrating production-grade data pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Data ingestion frameworks
- Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
- API-based integrations
- Native connector integrations
- Data warehouse design and modeling
- Experience sourcing and integrating data from multiple Line of Business (LOB) systems while conforming to enterprise standards and governed definitions.
- Knowledge of Knowledge Graphs, Ontology Modeling, and Semantic Layer Design to establish governed, shared data definitions across the enterprise.
- Ability to engage in highly technical solution discussions and provide architectural guidance.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience leading data modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Strong mentoring and leadership experience within data engineering teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus across business and technical teams.

The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 - $160,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
