We are seeking a Lead Architect to drive enterprise-wide AWS platform transformation, data modernization, and application modernization initiatives. This role will define cloud architecture strategy, guide modernization roadmaps, and lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient AWS-based solutions. The architect will partner with business, engineering, and technology leaders to accelerate digital transformation, optimize cloud investments, and enable data-driven decision-making.

Your role:

Skills and experience

  • Deep expertise in **AWS Cloud Architecture**, including compute, storage, networking, security, and governance services.
  • Proven experience developing and executing **application modernization strategies**, including rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, and cloud-native transformation.
  • Strong knowledge of **data platform modernization**, including data lakes, data warehouses, data governance, ETL/ELT, and real-time analytics solutions on AWS.
  • Experience designing **microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and containerized platforms** using Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, and serverless technologies.
  • Expertise in **cloud security, compliance, identity management, and enterprise architecture best practices**.
  • Strong understanding of **DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and automation frameworks**.
  • Ability to create technology roadmaps, architecture standards, and modernization business cases aligned with organizational goals.
  • Strong stakeholder management, consulting, and leadership skills with the ability to influence executive and technical teams.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $140,000 - $170,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
