Full Job Description
Overview

This is a full-time career opportunity that can be remote.  Must have the ability for occasional travel to our headquarters location in Lancaster, PA.

 

Responsible for providing data modeling and source to target mapping for database development projects, design and user support for business intelligence implementation, design and ownership of the corporate data architecture and related standards, design and maintenance of reference and master data management initiatives, establishment of meta data management policies and procedures, including maintenance of data warehouse and source application data dictionaries, and development and enforcement of data management standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Data Architects work on a broad range of projects as well as provide leadership within the project for other members of a project team.
  • Defines the corporate data architecture and related standards that includes data integration architecture, data warehouse and business intelligence architecture, taxonomies and namespaces, and data modeling tools and standards.
  • Working with the Data Governance team, assist with designing and managing reference data and master data programs. Design and manage implementation of RDM and MDM solutions. Define and maintain match rules, data cleansing rules, hierarchies and affiliations, and Golden records. Manage changes to reference and master data by identifying sources and contributors and establishing processes for managed change.
  • Establishing metadata management policies and procedures. Develop, maintain and enforce standards. Implement and maintain metadata tools. Manage metadata repositories. Create and manage widely accessible data dictionaries. Enforce policies and processes needed to improve and maintain the quality and ownership of data.
  • Provide regular advice, direction and support to team members and other Bank resources with hands on demonstrations of proper techniques and disciplines across all functions. Deliver these functions with leading industry practices with a thorough understanding of the full systems development lifecycle. Act as a role model for documentation, communication, scripting and adherence to established Information Technology governance standards and procedures.
  • Providing detailed data modeling and design for all data oriented development projects, either as an individual contributor or through mentoring less senior Data Architects. These efforts will include the design of logical and physical data models and documentation. Conduct source to target analysis and mapping and maintain documentation. Create and update data dictionary. Participate in acceptance testing as required.

 

Qualifications Education

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Computer Science, Computer Information Science. (Required)

Master's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Computer Science, Computer Information Science. (Preferred)

Experience

7 or more years Lead Data Architect, Big Data Solution Architect, Sr. Big Data Architect. (Required)

The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

 

The salary range for this position is $127,800.00 - $213,000.00 annually.

Additional Compensation Components

 

This job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units. This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
