WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

As Lead, Cyber Security Engineer you will be leading cyber security risk mitigation initiatives and programs. You will provide strategic technical guidance to cross-functional teams, conduct in-depth security assessments, and develop tactical solution for cyber vulnerability mitigation. You will pioneer AI-driven security solutions by developing and deploying AI models and agents to automate vulnerability scanning, threat detection, compliance monitoring, and predictive risk analysis across HR CLAO technology landscape. You will integrate emerging AI/agentic technologies into existing risk management workflows and building central data lakes for key risk metrics.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Cyber Security Risk Management: Leads complex cyber security engineering initiatives, solving abstract problems and delivering impactful technical solutions using advanced technical and business expertise.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership and external stakeholders to manage third party cybersecurity services, consults on best practices, and resolves critical security issues.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for production problem tickets and provide options for solution, managing risks, assumptions, and constraints, and communicating to appropriate parties.
  • AI Automation & Agentic AI Development: Develop and deploy AI models to automate vulnerability scanning, threat detection, and compliance monitoring. Collaborate with cross platform teams to integrate AI solutions into existing risk management workflows.
  • Integration of enterprise source systems for Key Risk Metrics (KRIs) to develop central data lake; development of AI Agents to perform risk analysis and prediction on this data lake.
  • Governance & Advisory: Provide technical guidance to application teams on compliance with IT risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Collaborate with stakeholders to align remediation efforts with organizational risk appetite.
  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps in existing security processes and propose enhancements.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:
  • A 'Go To' attitude - A proactive, determined, and optimistic approach to challenges, willingness to take action, find solutions, and achieve goals despite obstacles
  • 7+ years of experience software development domain, developing highly scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant applications especially in Cyber Security domain
  • Strong backend development skills in Python or Java with strong OOP design principles, solid understanding of REST API's, microservices architecture
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps Infrastructure. Experience with Infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), cloud platforms
  • Experience in developing production-ready AI security solutions and AI Agents to drive efficiency and scaling risk analysis of enterprise scale IT landscape

Nice-to-have:
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently and drive solutions forward
  • Understanding of IT Risk and Cyber Security concepts and secure coding practices
  • Certification: CISSP, CRISC, CCSP, CCSK etc.
