Join our dynamic Corporate Strategy team at AT&T as a Lead, where you will tackle some of the most critical challenges in the connectivity and technology sectors. In a world that is constantly changing, our Corporate Strategy team is at the forefront, becoming subject matter experts on a diverse range of topics that impact the daily lives of millions of customers.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Strategic Analysis and Research: Lead complex, in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry dynamics. Utilize various analytical tools and frameworks (e.g., SWOT, PESTLE) to identify strategic opportunities and threats. This foundational research informs all other strategic decisions and actions.

  • Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop and maintain complex financial models to project future performance, assess potential investments, and evaluate strategic initiatives. Use financial metrics such as discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, ROI calculations, and sensitivity analyses to support strategic recommendations. Accurate financial analysis is crucial for making informed business decisions.

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Assist in the development and execution of the company’s strategic plan. Collaborate with senior leadership to set long-term goals and objectives. Support the implementation of strategic initiatives by coordinating with various business units and tracking progress against strategic goals.

  • Presentation and Communication: Prepare and present strategic recommendations, reports, and analysis to senior management and other stakeholders. Create clear and compelling presentation materials that effectively communicate complex information and strategic insights. Effective communication is essential for gaining buy-in and driving strategic initiatives.

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as a liaison to business unit personnel, soliciting and incorporating feedback into final deliverables. Work closely with other departments (e.g., finance, marketing, operations, product development) to ensure alignment and integration of strategic initiatives. Facilitate cross-functional teams to drive strategic projects and ensure successful execution.

  • Team Leadership and Capability Development:
    Provide mentorship and guidance to Senior Strategists. Review analyses, coach problem-solving approaches, and help elevate overall team capabilities and strategic output quality.

Job Contribution: An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.
