Job SummaryThe Lead - Corporate Development and M&A will support the team in driving strategic growth and value creation for the organization. The Lead will drive strategic decision-making by leading the development of robust M&A financial models and analyses to evaluate M&A opportunities or strategic initiatives. This role will also lead the identification, assessment, and management of risks as it relates to M&A and strategic project execution. The Lead will lead the development of reports containing key information and insights for team and senior management and will make recommendations on business decisions to team and senior management. The ideal candidate must be proactive in building relationships across the organization to understand and help solve for business needs and will leverage those cross-functional relationships to drive optimal and efficient business outcomes.
Essential Job Functions- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate the expected performance of credit programs or other business opportunities, including M&A opportunities. Using independent judgment and discretion, derive key assumptions for the model. Leverage organizational relationships and business knowledge to best inform key assumptions. - (35%)
- Leverage financial model outcomes and business knowledge to provide strategic recommendations on business decisions. Proactively engage with organizational stakeholders to gather insights and refine key assumptions, ensuring models accurately reflect market dynamics and business realities. - (35%)
- Support multiple of the critical facets of M&A deal execution, including due diligence, financial analysis, term sheet and contract negotiations, and implementation. Lead certain facets in coordination with cross functional teams and identify areas for improvement. - (10%)
- Identify and analyze key risks related to new business and M&A opportunities and ongoing partner financial performance; present findings and mitigants to leadership and/or proactively employ them using business judgment. - (10%)
- Lead the development of reports for team leadership, including competitive benchmarking and performance analyses for credit programs and/or businesses. Make recommendations based on findings and help craft communication strategies. - (10%)
Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED.
- 8-10 years of experience in strong analytical positions (financial services, consulting, credit card industry background preferred).
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field of study.
- 10-13 years of experience in strong analytical positions (financial services, consulting, credit card industry background preferred).

The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
You must be work authorized in the United States on a full time basis without the need for any sponsorship now or in the future from any employer or organization. The Company cannot offer employment to F-1 (student) visa holders.

All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time ("PSST") upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.
Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
