Job Description
As Lead, Community of Practice (CoP)you will:
Shape and standardize CoP practices with measurable outcomes across the value team—designing collaborative experiences and enabling knowledge sharing communications to drive adoption of best practices and improve how engineers connect and learn.
Apply UX and content design expertise to create intuitive, end-to-end experiences for CoP platforms and knowledge assets, including ideation, concept development, and usability improvements.
Provide strategic guidance to ensure CoP operations meet business needs for usability and quality; identify opportunities for process simplification and continuous improvement.
Leverage Agile methodology to collaborate effectively with product teams, foster a culture of engineering and communications best practices, and manage change initiatives with adaptability and risk awareness.
Drive adoption of new services and capabilities by developing knowledge-sharing strategies, training frameworks, communications channels, and organizing community-driven onboarding sessions.
Lead community engagement through Open Hours, TechTalks, and innovative formats that strengthen collaboration and accelerate knowledge transfer.
Demonstrate experience in UX design using platforms such as Confluence and SharePoint, combined with Agile project management and community facilitation skills.
Responsibilities but not limited to:
Establish and continuously evolve a scalable CoP framework across multiple product teams, forming a rotating council to ensure inclusiveness of ideas and drive adoption of engineering best practices.
Design and curate high-quality, reusable solutions that enable community contributions, foster collaboration, and accelerate adoption of best practices through ongoing communications.
Analyze user behaviors and feedback to enhance the end-to-end community experience and improve usability of CoP platforms and resources.
Develop and maintain knowledge-sharing strategies and assets, including repositories, workshops, communications, and training curricula, in partnership with cross-functional teams and product team channels.
Streamline processes and enable self-service capabilities by collaborating with development teams to build automation workflows (e.g., Power Automate) and leverage Generative AI tools (e.g. Copilots & Gemini Enterprise) to enhance community management and simplify knowledge-sharing experiences.
Plan and deliver community engagement initiatives, managing the backlog of activities such as Open Hours, TechTalks, announcements, and knowledge-sharing events to ensure timely execution.
Shape the CoP roadmap and engagement strategy to strengthen collaboration, enhance communications, promote standards, and elevate the overall community experience.
Identify and implement opportunities for process simplification and continuous improvement to optimize CoP operations.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending adoption where appropriate to keep the CoP innovative and relevant.
Promote engineering practices, standards, and guidelines through effective use of collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Viva Engage.

Education Minimum Requirement:
Required Experience and Skills:
5+ years of experience in UX/content design and management using SharePoint and Confluence.
5+ years working on Agile projects (Scrum) and knowledge of Jira.
Experience with Generative AI tools and GitHub is preferred.
Experience working with distributed teams (onshore/offshore).
Experience owning and delivering digital products and content throughout their lifecycle.
Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to align stakeholders on complex technical decisions.
Self-motivated team player, able to work independently and collaboratively.

The salary range for this role is
$87,300.00 - $137,400.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
