If you are an experienced Procurement or Supply Chain Professional, looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Copeland locations in the US, you will drive sourcing for Copeland's Corporate Services categories (Marketing, HR, Legal, Finance and Engineering). This role includes driving category strategies across all Copeland locations globally, controlling costs and identifying new savings opportunities, ensuring supplier performance, as well as aligning procurement activities with the overall business objectives. This role could be based in a number of our US offices (St. Louis, Sidney, Cudahy, Kennesaw, Forney) As a Lead Commodity Manager you will: - Execute and develop category strategies for corporate functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder priorities. - Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives including RFPs, supplier negotiations, contracting, and implementation. - Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Marketing, HR, Legal, Finance and Engineering to align sourcing solutions with business needs. - Identify cost savings, trade working capital improvements and value creation opportunities through supplier consolidation, demand management, and contract renegotiations. - Manage supplier relationships and performance, including SLAs, KPIs, and regular business reviews. - Ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant legal, ethical, and risk requirements. - Track and report on savings initiatives, contract coverage, and sourcing pipeline activity. - Monitor market trends, pricing benchmarks, and innovation in corporate services to inform sourcing strategies. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experiences in lieu of the degree - 8+ years of work experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain - Requires Indirect Sourcing experience - Requires experience with Corporate Spend categories (will support Marketing, HR, Legal, Finance and Engineering) - Ability to work effectively with various levels of the organization as well as external vendors to effectively manage scope of work and ensure alignment with business needs - Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, assess risk, and drive forward progress in a structured manner - Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional presentation skills - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and on a team - Ability to travel domestically (5-10%) Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements: This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week.
