OverviewThe Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for leading the development of reporting, dashboards, and analytics that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role sits within the Global FP&A team and serves as a strategic partner across key business functions, with a primary focus on Sales performance and enterprise-level KPIs. This role owns the BI intake, prioritization, metric definition, and business facing design and partners with IT for technical development, data architecture and platform delivery.
This position works cross-functionally with Sales, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and IT to establish consistent global metrics, improve data visibility, and enable scalable reporting infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales leadership, Sales Operations, and Finance to define and maintain key performance indicators and dashboards
- Partner with business analysts and IT developers to ensure data in the BI data warehouse is complete and accurate
- Works with executives and business leaders to understand key performance indicators and other metrics used in decision making to present actionable data from BI
- Lead the design and validation of dashboards and reports that translate business questions into actionable insights, while enabling intuitive, self-service reporting that reduces ad-hoc requests and improves data access and usability
- Streamline existing reports from all departments to come from a single source of truth and reduce manual preparation of reports
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and data models to transform raw data into clean, reusable structures that support scalable reporting and analytics.
- Investigate and resolve data and performance issues by tracing reporting or dashboard discrepancies back to upstream data sources, identifying gaps in logic, and partnering with IT to remediate underlying data model or schema issues
- Drive consistency in metric definitions across regions
- Owns the intake, triage and prioritization of BI requests and manages escalations through the BI Steering Committee ensuring focus on high-demand high-impact decision oriented use cases.
- Develop effective relationships and problem solving with internal and external customers including third parties and fellow employees
- Promote data governance and leading practices for data management
- Performs other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business, Analytics or another related field.
- 3-5 years in BI, FP&A, or analytics
- Experience with various business intelligence software such as Power BI and Tableau
- Experience working with data models / semantic layers
- Working knowledge of sales and financial KPIs
- SQL knowledge preferred
- Ability to tactfully communicate (oral/written and in person or on the phone) with internal and external customers including third parties and fellow employees
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work well under pressure and to prioritize multiple projects
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required

Travel Requirements: This role will be remote but may occasionally require meetings at our corporate headquarters in West Hills, CA.
