Position Summary:

The Lead, Brand Partnerships is responsible for shaping, developing, and leading Silversea's global brand partnerships strategy, building a curated portfolio of partnerships that drive measurable impact across the entire consumer journey-from brand awareness and consideration through conversion, loyalty, and advocacy.

This role serves as the strategic architect and steward of Silversea's partnership ecosystem, ensuring that partnerships are selected, structured, activated, and measured based on clear business objectives, audience relevance, brand alignment, and commercial value. The position develops differentiated partnership strategies that support distinct marketing outcomes, including awareness-building partnerships, performance-driven partnerships, and loyalty- and guest-engagement partnerships.

As partnerships become an increasingly important growth driver for the brand, this role provides dedicated leadership across the partnership lifecycle-from opportunity identification and business case development through negotiation, activation, performance measurement, and long-term relationship management. The position ensures partnerships are integrated into the broader marketing strategy and connected across Communications, Media, CRM, Loyalty, Events, Sales, Guest Experience, Legal, Finance, agencies, and external partners.

The Lead, Brand Partnerships will balance strategic vision, analytical rigor, creative problem-solving, and exceptional relationship management skills to build and manage a diverse portfolio of luxury, lifestyle, travel, hospitality, cultural, culinary, financial, entertainment, and experiential partners. This role is accountable for developing partnership roadmaps, defining success metrics, overseeing cross-functional execution, and ensuring partnership investments contribute directly to brand, customer, and commercial objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned to the consumer journey, identifying partnership opportunities that support awareness, consideration, conversion, loyalty, and advocacy objectives.
  • Create a partnership segmentation framework that defines the role of each partnership type, including brand-building partnerships, acquisition partnerships, performance marketing partnerships, content partnerships, experiential partnerships, affinity partnerships, and loyalty partnerships.
  • Establish clear business objectives, KPIs, and measurement frameworks for each partnership based on its role in driving brand equity, lead generation, bookings, guest engagement, retention, or loyalty outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain a multi-year strategic partnership roadmap that aligns partnership investments with marketing priorities, audience strategies, commercial goals, and customer journey needs.
  • Partner closely with Media, CRM, Digital Marketing, Loyalty, Communications, and Sales teams to ensure partnership initiatives support broader customer acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Lead the development of integrated partnership activation plans that span paid, earned, owned, social, experiential, onboard, digital, and direct-to-consumer channels.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of partnership types and stakeholders, balancing competing priorities while ensuring alignment to enterprise goals and brand standards.
  • Oversee partnership planning and execution through strong project management disciplines, including annual planning, activation calendars, milestone tracking, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and performance reviews.
  • Champion innovative partnership concepts and creative collaboration opportunities that enhance brand relevance, generate consumer engagement, and differentiate Silversea within the luxury travel landscape.
  • Leverage analytics, insights, consumer research, and performance data to optimize partnership investment decisions and recommend future opportunities.
  • Build executive-ready performance reporting that links partnership activity directly to strategic business outcomes, consumer engagement metrics, commercial performance, and ROI.
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert on partnership strategy and partnership portfolio management, educating cross-functional teams on best practices, governance processes, and measurement frameworks.
  • Support strategic marketing initiatives and other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • 8-12 years of experience in brand partnerships, sponsorships, strategic marketing, business development, luxury marketing, events, hospitality, travel, and/or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience developing partnership ecosystems that support different stages of the customer journey, including awareness, acquisition, engagement, retention, and loyalty.
  • Proven ability to establish KPI frameworks and measurement methodologies that connect partnership activities to business performance and customer outcomes.
  • Exceptional program management and organizational skills, with experience managing complex partnership portfolios, activation calendars, roadmaps, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong strategic planning capabilities with the ability to balance long-term brand-building objectives and short-term commercial performance goals.
  • Highly creative thinker with the ability to identify unconventional partnership opportunities and translate them into breakthrough consumer experiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging consumer insights, audience data, attribution models, and performance metrics to inform partnership decisions.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, build consensus, and manage a diverse portfolio of partner organizations and executive relationships.
  • Experience collaborating across brand marketing, CRM, loyalty, communications, media, digital marketing, events, sales, and customer experience functions.
