Job description

Infosys is seeking a Lead Azure DevOps Engineer -This position's primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the build and deployment of applications for large business systems; create deployment scripts, configure build tools, configure pipelines and support the CI/CD process. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Omaha, NE or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in AWS, DevOps Tools, CICD Pipelines, Jenkins, scripting and support experience with EC2, Load balancer, Autoscaling, AMI, Elastic Beanstalk, S3, VPC, RDS- (MySQL Arora) services

Preferred Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience in Unix/Linux, Oracle, Scheduling tools, Java and Apache or Nginx.
• At least 5 years of experience in L2/L3 production support activities, application/platform monitoring
• At least 5 years of working experience on Aurora MySQL and Oracle databases.
• Troubleshooting with Docker containers
• ITIL certification is a plus
• Experience with enhanced monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Splunk, AppDynamics, DynaTrace and MoogSoft will be preferred
• Hands on experience with incident/change/problem management and ticketing tools like Service Point, Remedy, CA Service Desk etc.
• In-depth understanding on Docker/Kubernetes setup, CLI, runtime parameter injections.
• Setup AWS (Others as well) cloud VPC, Serverless accounts & Infrastructure for deploying to both EKS, ECS
• Good knowledge on Storage engines and efficient data storage mechanisms on Cloud.
• Good hands on experience on setting up Security Infrastructure, Security Vault and wiring that Trust stores/Keystores during application runtime.
• Git, BitBucket, JUnits, CodeCoverage tools integrations into the DevOPS build/deploy pipelines
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication & articulation skills
• Ability to work in team environment
• Experience and desire to work in a Global Delivery Model
• Working experience as application production support Engineer in a 24x7 uptime environment.
• Must be ready to work in shifts and over weekends whenever required

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
