The Lead Automation Engineering Technician is responsible for execution of engineering experiments related to new process development and/or improve existing assembly processes, as well as supporting validation runs on new equipment and process.
This position reports to the Director of Automation Mechanical Engineering and is part of the Automation Engineering located in Lodi, CA and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:- Execute engineering experiments, process development activities, and validation studies to support new product introductions and continuous improvement of existing assembly processes.
- Coordinate and support engineering, validation, and component testing activities by working closely with cross-functional teams including raw material supply, manufacturing, and test engineering groups.
- Analyze results, document findings, and provide recommendations for process improvements, procedures, protocols, and equipment performance.
The essential requirements of the job include:- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automation Technician, Process Engineering Technician, R&D Technician, or in a similar manufacturing support role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting engineering experiments, process development, equipment troubleshooting, validation activities, and operation of automated manufacturing equipment in a production or development environment.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:- Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field.
- Experience supporting process development, validation activities, and automated assembly equipment in a biomedical device or other regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with plastic components, component testing, and data collection/analysis to support engineering investigations and process improvements.

The annual salary range is $81,500.00 to $95,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
