The Impact you will have in this role:

The Development family is responsible for creating, designing, deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and software solutions. May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm. The software development process requires in-depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages. Software Developers work closely with business partners and / or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions. The Application Support Engineering role specializes in maintaining and providing technical support for all applications that are beyond the development stage and are running in the daily operations of the firm. Works closely with development teams, infrastructure partners, and internal / external clients to escalate and resolve technical support incidents.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing solutions in FIS Integrity and ATS applications
  • Resolve Critical application alerts in a timely fashion including production defects, providing business impact and analysis to teams, handling minor enhancements as needed
  • Review and update knowledge articles and runbooks with application development teams to confirm information is up to date
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide answers to application issues and escalate to as needed
  • Validate and submit responses to requests for information from onging audits
  • Review and Execute Disaster Recovery scripts during planned and unplanned outages, providing BCM evidence as needed
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort associated with application monitoring
  • Partner with development teams to provide input into the design and development stages of applications
  • Execute the pre-production/production application code deployment plans and end to end vendor application upgrade process (e.g. SNOW, SF, etc)
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience


Talents Needed for Success
  • Fluid in FIS Integrity application functionality
  • particular emphasis on contract administration, cash management, payment processing, and accounting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work directly with Treasury end users and translate loose requirements into Integrity-based functional solutions
    • Ability to work directly with banks to discuss file formats where needed
  • Understanding of ISO20022 standards as relates to Statements and Payments
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle including understanding of Testing Strategy and Test Script development
  • Ability to write SQL queries a plus
  • Knowledge of ATS & Echos preferred, with ATS expertise a plus
  • Crystal Reports knowledge a plus


The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
