Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:

Lantic is currently recruiting for the position of Lead, Analytics and BI based at our Toronto facility. Reporting to the Director, Business Transformation, the incumbent will transform enterprise data into actionable insights, robust BI products, and workflow automation solutions to advance organizational objectives. The Lead, Analytics and BI will manage the enterprise Power BI environment and will expand the use of Microsoft's Power Platform (including Power Automate) to embed analytics into business processes. This role will be a key bridge between operational, data science, and IT stakeholders, ensuring that data products are practical, effective and impactful.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, design, and develop Power BI dashboards and reports, semantic models, and reporting layers to enable efficient and effective business decision making;
  • Establish best practices for data modeling, DAX, and visualization standards;
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, reusable analytics solutions;
  • Ensure consistency and quality of performance measures and reporting across the organization;
  • Develop and maintain analytics products that deliver measurable business value;
  • Collaborate with the data scientist to operationalize models into business-facing tools;
  • Support the evolution from reporting to predictive and decision-oriented analytics;
  • Build lightweight solutions using Power Apps (e.g. Power Automate) to support data workflows;
  • Collaborate and partner with cross-functional leaders and teams to identify high-impact analytics opportunities;
  • Effectively communicate and translate business problems into innovative data solutions.


QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 3-5+ years of experience delivering enterprise-grade business intelligence, analytics, or data solutions;
  • Advanced expertise in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization best practices);
  • Strong experience working with enterprise data and platforms (ERP systems, data warehouses, etc.);
  • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions from requirements to deployment;
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills;
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ ELT processes, and analytics workflows;
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps);
  • Familiarity with Azure data services (e.g. Synapse, Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric) (an asset);
  • Industry experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or similar environments (an asset);
  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python (a strong asset);
  • Certifications in Power BI or Tableau (an asset).
