Our team in Austin, TX or Alpharetta, GA is looking for a Lead Analyst, Strategic Pricing and Contracts. Working in support of the Medical Devices US Sales Division, the Lead Analyst of Strategic Pricing and Contracts will interface with Sales, Sales Management, Enterprise Accounts Sales personnel, Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance, OEC and Legal to apply business management principles and financial concepts that maximize the company's performance against sales and profit goals and minimize risk.

This role may support our Enterprise Accounts or Cardiovascular Business Units (Structural Heart, CRM, Electrophysiology, Vascular, or Heart Failure)

What You'll Work On
  • Collaborate closely with Enterprise Accounts or Business Unit field teams to develop and execute strategic deal approaches as it relates to customers and contractual requirements.
  • May support national and regional healthcare systems, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), and coalitions.
  • Lead cross-functional planning discussions with multiple divisions to align proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract terms.
  • Support pricing governance throughout the deal lifecycle, including pricing analysis, financial impact assessment, Average Selling Price (ASP) optimization, and overall portfolio strategy, while ensuring adherence to internal guidelines.
  • Maintain strategic ownership of contracts for assigned accounts, including lifecycle management, renewal optimization, and Gross Margin Improvement (GMI) execution.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of contract development best practices to draft, review, and negotiate contractual terms, including compliance provisions and rebate program structures.
  • Work within guidelines for contract approvals, pricing approvals, and contract creation. Seeking approvals when outside of established guidelines.
  • Understand contractual obligations and subsequent impacts on various contracting processes and products.
  • Review and redline business contract terms, coordinating with internal stakeholders on customer redline contract edits. When applicable, vet extended terms through other departments including IP legal, privacy, OEC, legal, technical services, cybersecurity, finance, risk management and customer service. Must be able to appropriately determine the correct department for review, clearly and concisely explain customer requests and associated risks, then incorporate responses into contractual terms.
  • Provide strategic guidance on contract structuring, ensuring alignment with internal policies and offering practical solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Contractual frameworks (Capital, Consignment, GPO, etc.) including financial implications and their impact on contracting processes and product launches.
  • Leverage artificial intelligence tools (e.g., Copilot) to improve workflow efficiency and enhance day-to-day operations.
  • Operate with a strong sense of urgency, effectively managing multiple priorities and meeting customer-driven deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Lead and execute formal Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Contribute to team development by supporting training initiatives and participating in special projects.
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex customer requirements and develop effective, compliant solutions.
  • Foster collaboration by working effectively in a team-oriented environment with diverse stakeholders and working styles.
  • Participates in special projects and is responsible for other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelors Degree Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Masters Degree Preferred
  • Minimum 5 years Experience in business, finance or strategic pricing and contracting is required.
  • Prior experience in Medical Devices preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills with attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, ability to work with general supervision, must be autonomous.
  • Leadership, problem solving, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills required.
  • Knowledge of contract development and terms and conditions
  • High level data analytic skills to build customized analytics based on need.
  • Working knowledge of CLM/CPQ/RMS systems
  • Strong quantitative & qualitative analysis skills, including experience working with large data sets
  • Ability to work seamlessly with remote sites & business partners including building relationship with Sales personnel and build rapport with diverse personalities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have well-honed sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
  • Customer-service oriented mind frame and skill sets
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office: Word, PowerPoint and advanced skills in Excel, CoPilot
