Full Job Description
The purpose of this role is data analysis/guided deliverable development in support of assessment/strategic deliverables.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Lead Analyst to support two complementary analytics engagements within Merkle's health vertical. This role spans campaign analytics and advanced measurement work, requiring both technical depth and the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, client-ready insights.

The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in SQL and marketing data, strong data visualization instincts, and the communication skills to present findings confidently to client stakeholders. Equally important is the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with structure and accountability. A background in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences analytics is strongly preferred, though candidates from other verticals with highly transferable skills will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Reporting & Performance Measurement
  • Support end-to-end campaign reporting across channels including email, digital media, CRM, and web
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards tied to meaningful KPIs
  • Ensure data accuracy and alignment with brand measurement frameworks
  • Contribute to post-campaign and quarterly performance readouts

Measurement & Data Enablement
  • Support data onboarding, validation, and troubleshooting across multiple data sources
  • Contribute to audience and measurement analyses, including media attribution and cross-channel studies
  • Develop QC frameworks to ensure data integrity across source types
  • Maintain well-documented analytical workflows that can be scaled across the team

Data Visualization & Presentation
  • Design and deliver polished dashboards and reports that make complex data accessible to non-technical audiences
  • Own the development of client-facing presentation materials that translate analytical outputs into clear, actionable narratives
  • Continuously improve reporting templates and visualization standards

Insights & Storytelling
  • Move beyond reporting to surface actionable insights tied to brand objectives
  • Synthesize inputs across workstreams into cohesive, decision-ready stories for internal and client audiences

Project & Workstream Management
  • Manage workload across two concurrent engagements, balancing competing deadlines with clear prioritization
  • Proactively surface blockers and dependencies to senior leads
  • Participate in client meetings and internal reviews, contributing findings and status updates clearly

Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of analytics experience in a marketing, media, or data-driven environment
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort working with large, complex datasets
  • Experience with digital media data and performance measurement across paid channels
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Proven ability to build client-facing presentations that communicate complex findings clearly
  • Organized and deadline-driven, with comfort managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred
  • Background in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences analytics
  • Prior experience at a marketing analytics agency or consultancy

Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with privacy-safe or clean room data environments
  • Python experience for analysis or automation workflows

What Success Looks Like
  • Dashboards and reporting are accurate, polished, and consistently used by stakeholders
  • Presentations drive meaningful conversations with clients and leadership
  • Workstreams are well-managed and deliverables land on time
  • Insights contribute meaningfully to team recommendations and client decisions
  • Demonstrates growing independence and potential to take on expanded scope over time
