OverviewThe Lead Financial Analyst serves as a key financial partner responsible for overseeing the capital investment portfolio and driving high-priority strategic initiatives. This role ensures that capital is deployed efficiently to support Chick-fil-A Supply’s growth and optimization while providing deep financial insights that influence long-term business decisions. The Lead Analyst will blend technical financial expertise with cross-functional partnership to optimize asset performance and support the organization’s strategic roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end Capex lifecycle, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and actuals tracking for all capital and maintenance projects
- Conduct ROI, NPV, and Payback Period analysis to evaluate the financial viability of proposed capital projects
- Partner with business and accounting teams to forecast depreciation and plan for the replacement or expansion of critical assets
- Develop and maintain monthly capital reporting to provide leadership with visibility into spend health, project timelines, and variance analysis
- Support the multi-year financial planning process by integrating capital requirements with broader corporate objectives in the long-range financial model
- Identify and implement enhancements to financial systems and workflows to increase accuracy and efficiency in capital reporting
- Provide data-driven recommendations on complex business cases, such as lease vs. buy analyses or entering new markets
- Help prepare the financial modeling and narrative creation for new strategic ventures, such as facility expansions, automation technology, or network optimizations
- Act as a primary financial advisor to Facilities and Operations teams to ensure financial alignment with project goals
- Prepare and present financial findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Obtain a solid working knowledge of the primary drivers of operations and their impact on financial performance

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
- Bachelor’s degree, Finance or Business-related field
- 5-8 years of relevant business experience
- Excellent business communication and presentation skills
- FP&A experience in a multi-location organization
- Financial Modeling experience
- Strong capabilities in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with ERP Systems such as Oracle
