Minimum qualifications:

About the job

In this role, you will be part of the RTR's External Consultation, Testing and Research (ECTR). The ECTR team helps to strengthen connections between valued external experts and our broader Trust and Safety team, garner feedback about specific decisions/outcomes, and gather insight and expertise on specific artificial intelligence issues. The ECTR's team's role is to build trust in Google's process to keep the internet safe for all users and help develop more robust policies, products and processes.

You will be a part of our AI testing and feedback program where you will collaborate with external stakeholders and internal teams like Google DeepMind, Public Policy, and Marketing teams.

Your role working will gather feedback from external stakeholders on our most important AI products. You will analyze large datasets of feedback for insights and recommendations for Leadership, while optimizing the efficiency and accuracy of our AI testing program. You will use your independent, critical thinking skills with strong judgment and balance immediate needs with a long-term outlook, making data-driven recommendations. You will streamline complex workflows and provide support to internal stakeholders. You should be comfortable with both qualitative analysis and structured data sets.

Responsibilities
  • Cultivate relationships and programming for external thought leaders, academics and policy experts on artificial intelligence and content safety issues.
  • Run outreach and operational functions for our external AI testing program in the United States.
  • Work cross-functionally with Trust and Safety, Product Engineering, Marketing and Public Policy teams to engage with external stakeholders on key content safety issues including elections integrity, child safety, scams and artificial intelligence.
  • Support the overall operations of the AI testing program including testing readiness and communications to internal and external stakeholders.
