  • At least 10 years of overall experience in software architecture, AI, machine learning, or enterprise technology leadership.
  • Proven track record in architecting enterprise AI and machine learning solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI technologies and large language models (LLMs).
  • Strong knowledge of AI orchestration frameworks, model optimization, and deployment strategies.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native AI environments and scalable distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of AI governance, responsible AI practices, and data privacy.
  • Experience designing enterprise-grade APIs, integrations, and scalable platforms.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare data ecosystems and interoperability concepts.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, innovation-focused environment.
  • Forward-thinking with a strong orientation toward innovation and emerging technologies.
  • The ability to make clear, well-reasoned architectural decisions under uncertainty.
  • The ability to simplify complex technical concepts for executive stakeholders.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and strategic execution discipline.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR.
  • Experience with clinical, operational, or claims data environments.
  • Familiarity with secure AI deployment patterns within regulated industries.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the enterprise AI architecture strategy across the organization.
  • Evaluate, select, and standardize AI models, frameworks, and tooling.
  • Design scalable AI and machine learning architectures for healthcare-focused applications.
  • Lead architectural decisions related to LLMs, generative AI, NLP, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation.
  • Develop AI governance, scalability, security, and model lifecycle strategies.
  • Establish best practices around AI deployment, MLOps, model monitoring, and optimization.
  • Build future-state architectural roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure AI solutions comply with healthcare regulations, privacy requirements, and data governance standards.
  • Guide and mentor engineering and AI team members on architectural standards and technical direction.
  • Evaluate buy-versus-build strategies for AI technologies and platforms.
  • Support cloud-native AI infrastructure planning and optimization.
  • Participate in technical assessments, proofs of concept, and architecture reviews.

We offer

  • US and EU projects based on advanced technologies.
  • Competitive compensation based on skills and experience.
  • Flexibility in workspace, either remote or our welcoming office.
  • Bonuses for article writing, public talks, and other activities.
  • Free tech webinars and meetups organized by Svitla.
