DUTIES: Build and refine predictive models using traditional statistical methods and modern machine learning techniques. Gather, analyze, and interpret data from disparate sources. Develop big data analytics models using tools including Tableau, Palantir, Power BI, and business process integration. Quantify data variances and apply statistical methods within the big data space. Use traditional modeling techniques to build models with trend analysis and statistical analysis using data to explain and predict behavior, build business cases, and provide insights and solutions. Leverage programming languages including Python for model development and SQL for database interactions. Ensure models are robust, scalable, and applicable. Engage with complex datasets including ADLS, MySQL, Teradata, and Oracle. Craft comprehensive reports, charts, and visual aids to summarize findings and insights. Consult and recommend directions to business partners and provide insights into patterns and relationships in data. Utilize analytics software, computer programming, data movement tools, and statistics and actuarial modeling. Complete business assessments. Apply advanced knowledge of data architecture, data science, graphic visualization, and informatics and information sciences.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Analytics and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation building and refining predictive models using traditional statistical methods and modern machine learning techniques; developing big data analytics models using tools including Tableau, Palantir, Power BI, and business process integration; quantifying data variances and applying statistical methods within the big data space;
