Full Job Description
Ascendant New York is looking for a full-time LCSW to be the designated Clinical Supervisor for our Outpatient programs, which include Outpatient Day Rehabilitation (PHP), IOP and Outpatient.

We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to provide leadership and oversight for our Outpatient clinical team. The Clinical Supervisor will ensure high-quality care through supervision, training, and adherence to ethical and professional standards. This role combines direct supervision with program development and occasional clinical work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide weekly clinical supervision to licensed and pre-licensed staff, case managers, and interns.
  • Oversee and monitor clinical documentation for compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Support staff development through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure evidence-based practices are integrated into programming.
  • Assist with program development, curriculum planning, and outcome evaluation.
  • Collaborate with leadership on policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide crisis consultation and clinical guidance as needed.
  • Maintain a small caseload of clients and/or facilitate groups as appropriate.


Qualifications
  • Master's degree in social work field required.
  • Current clinical license in NY. LCSW required
  • Approved supervisor status (or ability to obtain) preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health treatment.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment models (CBT, MI, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.)
  • Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
