Your OpportunityBDO Law's Immigration Practice is seeking a
Canadian Immigration Lawyer to join a growing, high-performing team providing strategic advice and representation in complex Canadian immigration matters, particularly in the business and economic immigration space.

Key Responsibilities- Manage a range of Canadian visa, immigration, and citizenship applications, with a focus on economic and business immigration
- Develop and implement immigration strategies aligned with client business needs while identifying and mitigating risk
- Advise clients on changes in immigration laws, regulations, and policy
- Independently manage files from intake to completion, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
- Prepare and oversee applications and supporting documentation
- Coordinate matters with government authorities, applicants, and employers
- Supervise and mentor caseworkers and junior team members
- Contribute to process improvements and efficient service delivery
- Maintain a focus on quality and client experience rather than volume-driven work

Your experience and education- Member in good standing of a Canadian Bar
- 3+ years of Canadian immigration experience, particularly in business/economic immigration
- Exposure to US immigration is an asset
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
- Ability to manage files independently and work directly with clients
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage competing priorities
- Strong work ethic, accountability, and commitment to high-quality client service
