Your Opportunity

BDO Law's Immigration Practice is seeking a Canadian Immigration Lawyer to join a growing, high-performing team providing strategic advice and representation in complex Canadian immigration matters, particularly in the business and economic immigration space.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality files in a collaborative environment, with meaningful client interaction, autonomy, and the ability to contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a range of Canadian visa, immigration, and citizenship applications, with a focus on economic and business immigration
  • Develop and implement immigration strategies aligned with client business needs while identifying and mitigating risk
  • Advise clients on changes in immigration laws, regulations, and policy
  • Independently manage files from intake to completion, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
  • Prepare and oversee applications and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate matters with government authorities, applicants, and employers
  • Supervise and mentor caseworkers and junior team members
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficient service delivery
  • Maintain a focus on quality and client experience rather than volume-driven work

Your experience and education
  • Member in good standing of a Canadian Bar
