As a Law Enforcement Engagement Specialist, at the GS-13 full performance level, you will perform the following duties:
- Serves as a point of contact between ICE assigned region, law enforcement agencies, and other key stakeholders, while educating law enforcement agencies and cultivating partnerships.
- Educate public and private entities about law enforcement services and activities, as well as the roles and responsibilities of ICE officers/agents.
- Provide information and assistance to ICE officers/agents to enhance their understanding of stakeholder/law enforcement partner concerns related to ICE's mission.
- Work with ICE components on strategizing, designing and implementing engagement efforts in support of projects and initiatives.
- Conduct outreach and engagement activities amongst law enforcement agencies to promote ICE programs.

You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
- Researching, evaluating, prioritizing and recommending solutions to problems and issues encountered in intergovernmental affairs;
- Providing support to a variety of agency activities, relating to administrative, research and analytical duties and a variety of engagement activities and special assignments related to the mission and functions of the office;
- Working with agency staff on strategizing, designing and implementing advocacy efforts in support of projects and initiatives; and,
- Assisting in responding to administrative and programmatic problems.
