Full Job Description
Government Success Manager North America at Go Vocal

We are looking for someone with a strong belief in the power of community engagement and the drive to put it into practice with local governments.

What will you do?
  • Manage a book of +45 North American clients - onboarding, increasing adoption, ensuring retention, and upselling, all while building strong client intimacy. You will work closely with a junior Government Success Manager to spot synergies and sharpen our approach to North American clients.
  • Be a thought leader on public participation for civil servants: in person (workshops, training), remotely (video calls), and through content (guides, articles).
  • Work closely with our North American Director and Head of Marketing to shape our GTM strategy and expand our client base by delivering expert input, presenting at webinars, and supporting sales.

What do we expect from you?
  • You have 5+ years of relevant experience demonstrating project and change management skills in a partner- or client-facing role.
  • You have 5+ years of experience working in the public sector; an existing network you can leverage is a plus.
  • You are an exceptional communicator in English, able to lead client group sessions as well as build one-to-one relationships with community engagement professionals and senior managers.
  • You are extremely organized and can create structure and processes in ambiguous situations.
  • You have a results-driven mentality, with a bias for speed and action.

An eagerness to learn, talent, and enthusiasm matter more than ticking every box. If you don't meet all of the listed requirements but are motivated and excited about the role, we want to hear from you!

What can you expect from us?
  • The opportunity to create social impact at scale by helping local governments engage their communities.
  • A key role in our growth from start-up to scale-up, and especially in our North American expansion.
  • A healthy, collaborative work culture with autonomy and ownership.
  • A diverse, international, and mission-driven team that values both purpose and fun.
  • Regular team events, inspiring lunches, quarterly town halls, and annual global retreats.
  • A competitive compensation and benefits package (between 95k and 120k USD OTE incl min 15% variable), including a yearly training budget, a collective bonus plan, unlimited access to mental well-being support (via OpenUp), full remote-work flexibility, and more.
