What You'll DoYou will be working closely with our lawyers, Law Clerks, Paralegals and legal administrative assistants across Canada to deliver quality legal services to our clients and will be involved in a wide variety of legal tasks including:
- Drafting pleadings, affidavits, court applications and bills of costs
- Document management, including document identification and collection, review and summary, preparation of lists of documents
- Managing court filing deadlines, bring-forwards and coordination of court materials
- Preparing for and uploading of documents to Case Centre (Ontario)
- Analyzing and summarizing complex information to support litigation strategy and matter management
- Supporting discovery and trial preparation, including coordinating and assisting with witness interviews
- Preparing and filing Writs of Seizure and Sale and Writ Renewals and garnishments
- Communicating, in a professional manner, with clients, opposing counsel, the court, and other professionals over the telephone or through email
- Other law clerk duties as required
What You Bring- A Law Clerk/Paralegal Diploma or Degree from an accredited university or college program, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Litigation Law Clerk role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, supported by sound judgment and professionalism
- Strong knowledge of court rules, procedures, and litigation processes
- Experience with construction liens is considered an asset
- Strong technology skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-Discovery tools
- Experience using new technology including AI tools responsibly while supporting legal work
- Experience with iManage, IntApp Time, or similar document management and timekeeping software
- Experience with ACL or similar software used to create court documents is an asset
- A detail-oriented, highly organized approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative, client-focused mindset and the ability to build positive working relationships with lawyers, colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders

Salary range - $95,000-$105,000 annually. Salary will be determined based on prior experience and skillset.
