Full Job Description
Goal for this Role

As a Launch Manager at Truemed, you'll play a critical role in helping high-growth, high-volume, and complex merchants unlock the full value of our platform. You'll partner closely with enterprise-level brands to integrate HSA/FSA eligibility into their commerce stack, enhance the customer experience, and align our technology with their business objectives to drive measurable growth.

This is a merchant-facing role that calls for a strategic blend of 60% business acumen and 40% technical expertise, requiring you to deeply understand each partner's goals while delivering solutions tailored to Truemed's product offerings.

As a trusted expert on the Truemed platform, you'll guide merchants through the implementation process, including payment integrations, post-purchase survey workflows, custom API development, and compliance with HSA/FSA regulations, ensuring they are positioned for long-term success.

What do you mean by Technical?

At Truemed, our Launch Managers are both technically skilled and able to guide merchants and maintain a high degree of trust for the project plan from contract signature through to launch of their integration. This role goes beyond implementation and requires a deep understanding of the Truemed product suite to address partner-specific requirements as they arise. You'll work at the intersection of commerce, compliance, and consumer experience, helping brands leverage Truemed's platform in innovative ways.

Outcomes for this Role

1. Drive Urgency & Maintain Enthusiasm While Guiding Partners Through Implementation Design and deliver clear and actionable onboarding plans, manage partner expectations, and drive onboarding progress to get partners up-and-running as quickly and seamlessly as possible. Reduce friction during the integration process and serve as a reliable subject matter expert as questions arise.

2. Ensure Successful Launches

Maintain launch timelines and perform appropriate testing prior to launch, utilizing institutional knowledge of common edge cases and internal configuration options, to best position partners for success upon launch.

3. Serve as Technical Point of Contact for Integration Maintenance

Continue to be a resource for partners post-launch by communicating product updates, triaging potential issues, and being the interface between the partner and Truemed's product and development teams.

Qualifications
  • Proven and referenceable experience in managing feature launches within the eCommerce or healthtech space, with a strong focus on high-growth, enterprise-level merchants
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building trust and alignment with both technical and non-technical decision-makers
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a passion for addressing complex implementation and integration challenges in enterprise environments
  • A mindset rooted in experimentation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing, with the ability to support Truemed's growing ecosystem of enterprise merchants, technology partners, and internal teams
  • Deep understanding of modern eCommerce infrastructure and checkout/payment architecture, particularly around enabling non-traditional payment methods (e.g., HSA/FSA eligibility)
  • Hands-on experience with web APIs (REST/GraphQL) and systems commonly used in eCommerce environments (e.g., payment gateways, custom carts, subscription tools, CRM, or ERP integrations)
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple high-impact sales cycles and technical engagements in parallel
  • Demonstrated success thriving in fast-paced, startup environments, with a proactive mindset and the agility to adapt to changing priorities

Values We're Looking for
  • Enthusiasm for our mission to put healthy lifestyle habits (e.g., exercise, good sleep) at the center of health.
  • Intelligence:
    • Exhibits a growth mindset and learns quickly.
    • Demonstrates ability to understand and absorb new information.
    • Understanding of your own strengths and weaknesses - when to ask for help and when to move forward autonomously.
    • Wants to work with/manage fewer people of the highest caliber than more people of mediocre caliber.
  • Critical thinking:
    • Able to quickly understand objectives and execute in an environment of ambiguity.
    • Never uses "because that's what I was told to do" as a reason for doing something that doesn't make sense.
  • Proactivity:
    • Acts without being told what to do.
    • Brings new ideas to the company.
  • Flexibility/adaptability:
    • Cares about getting to the right answer, not being proved right.
    • When faced with a setback or tough feedback, moves forward instead of dwelling on the past.
    • Focused on achieving the mission, not having the right answer.
    • Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
    • Understand sunk costs are sunk.
  • Openness to criticism and ideas:
    • Reacts calmly to criticism or negative feedback, and has a "feedback is an opportunity for information and improvement" mindset.
    • Is willing to give criticism and negative feedback - realizing we are all here to get to the right answer to achieve our mission.
  • Communication:
    • Speaks and writes clearly and articulately.

We don't have hard and fast rules for specific experiences. People we are talking to have backgrounds such as early startup executives, BD, sales operations, consulting and finance.
