Last Mile Optimization Leader

Are you passionate about driving operational efficiency and optimizing last-mile logistics to deliver measurable cost savings and performance improvements?

Do you thrive in influencing cross-functional teams and leading strategic initiatives that enhance fleet performance and supply chain effectiveness?

We are seeking a results-oriented and influential Last Mile Optimization Leader to drive operational efficiency and cost optimization initiatives across North America Land (NAL) and Canada. This role requires a strong ability to influence stakeholders to successful execution, build cross-functional relationships, and lead strategic programs that enhance fleet performance, operational effectiveness, and cost management.

The ideal candidate will bring a solution-oriented and systems-thinking mindset, combined with strong financial acumen and deep experience in operations and supply chain within the oil & gas or manufacturing sectors. A proven track record in delivering cost-out and optimization projects, along with a high level of accountability and execution.

As a Last Mile Optimization Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering truck right sizing strategy in cHD, MD and LD truck sales plan for 2026
  • Long term fleet insight development
  • Ordering entry team optimization strategy
  • Operational expense spend reduction 6 Element - LD premium fuel, non-fuel purchasing
  • Indirect spend optimization 6 forklifts, water, fuel, truck spares
  • AHA tracking and reporting 6 last mile efficiencies + truck sales + fleet operational metrics
  • Employee engagement initiatives 6 career growth plan actions

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have ability to build good relationships across all NAL + Canada
  • Have experience in leading cost out, optimization projects
