PositionOverview:

XOVR CNC Parts &Service is seeking to fill multiple positions for an LaserApplications Specialist to provideexpert-levelapplicationsupport, process optimization,training,and technical solutionsfor CNC machine tools. Thisrole requires travel across the UnitedStates, and is idealfor a hands-on, customer-facing engineer whothrives in afast-paced, problem-solving environment and wants tomake animpact on our customers' productivity. XOVR CNC Parts&Service services, installs, and trains on laser cuttingsystems, press brakes, robotic systems, plasma cutting systems,drills, saws, and other metal fabrication equipment. Allcandidates must live within one hour of a major airport.Experience with CNC equipment is preferred. Experience withlaser cutting systems is a strong plus, particularly withfiber laser systems used in metal fabrication.

EssentialJob Functions:

  • Baselining/debuggingnew CNCequipment systems
  • Training newcustomers and operators on equipment operation, procedures,and best practices
  • Troubleshootingexisting equipment systems
  • Performing dataanalysis to assess machinery performance
  • Documenting machinesafety, maintenance, and operational reports
  • Reading andinterpreting layout, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulicdiagrams/schematics
  • Collaborating withengineers, service managers, and customers
    Reporting inan accurate, clear and thorough manner
  • Provide pre- andpost-sales technical support to customers on CNC machinetools
  • Develop andoptimizecutting parameters, and processes forcustomer applications
  • Assist with on-siteor remote troubleshooting
  • Collaborate withcustomers to improve machine utilization and cycle times
  • Generateapplicationreports, case studies, and technicaldocumentation
  • Work alongsideengineering, service, and sales teams to ensure customersatisfaction

Requirements

TravelRequirements:

  • Non-LocalEmployees:90% travel required
  • Murrieta, CA /Bozeman, MT Employees: 70% travel with partial time at ourMurrieta, CA or Bozeman, Mt location.
  • Regular travelwithinassigned U.S. territories (1-2 weeks on-site,home on weekendswhen possible)
  • Some projects mayrequire extended time on-site
