At CESO, a Landscape Architect/Project Manager leads the site design from start to finish and manages the production of construction documents in accordance with laws and regulations. You will lead a small team and engage in business development for the landscape architecture service line. Primary responsibilities would include:
Position Responsibilities- Meet with external and internal project stakeholders (i.e., clients and project managers) to understand the requirements of a project, including goals, timelines, and budgets
- Prepare proposals for client and project needs
- Lead and manage architectural projects, including the preparation of design concepts, design development, estimates, and construction documentation, including specifications, materials, equipment, and estimated costs.
- Perform contract administration or construction administration, including RFIs, shop drawings, pay application review, site observations, and / or final site SF verification surveys
- Serve as a mentor and guide to designers and co-op's
- Review the work of others and provide feedback and / or redlines
- Work with the quality control team to provide reviews and comments
- Responsible for the team's quality of work and productivity
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements- A Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited school and 4+ years as a registered architect or 8 years of experience in Landscape Architecture with a current registration
- Professional Landscape Architectural License (PLA) required
- Travel required on an as-needed basis
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, photo editing software, and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and working with and leading a team
$82,594 - $160,599 a year
