Position Title: Landlord-tenant/Eviction Litigator
Step into a hands-on litigation role with a respected San Francisco firm where attorneys can build meaningful client relationships, take ownership of their cases, and work closely with experienced partners. This attorney will handle a caseload of approximately 10-20 matters, primarily involving landlord-tenant disputes and evictions, with responsibilities spanning client intake, retainers, discovery, depositions, negotiations, and court appearances. You'll work directly with Partner and play a key role in delivering thoughtful, effective representation to clients. They're looking for a reliable, articulate attorney who brings strong writing and communication skills and at least 3 years of landlord-tenant and eviction litigation experience.
Salary: $120,000 / Year
Responsibilities: - Manage a caseload of 10-20 landlord-tenant and eviction matters
- Represent primarily landlords with occasional tenant representation
- Handle litigation from case intake through resolution
- Conduct discovery, depositions, negotiations, and court appearances
- Meet with new clients, sign engagements, and secure retainers
- Handle select real estate litigation matters
- Work closely with Partner Jarod Hendrickson on active litigation matters
Requirements: - California Bar admission in good standing
- 3+ years of landlord-tenant and eviction litigation experience
- Strong understanding of California landlord-tenant law and eviction proceedings
- Proven courtroom and litigation experience
- Excellent legal writing and communication skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple active matters
- Strong client-service skills and a collaborative approach
