Job Title: Land Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities
  • Support land development strategy execution, including zoning, permitting, and entitlement processes
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Land Acquisition, Engineering & Design, Utilities, Environmental, Fiber, and Construction
  • Assist in managing due diligence activities such as site feasibility, regulatory assessments, and risk identification
  • Track project milestones and ensure deliverables align with development schedules
  • Support preparation and review of development agreements, utility coordination, and permitting documentation
  • Liaise with local authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), municipalities, and utility providers
  • Contribute to integrated project planning and documentation using tools like MS Project and SharePoint
  • Assist in contract administration, budget tracking, and reporting

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in land development, site development, or related consulting work
  • Working knowledge of land use planning, zoning regulations, permitting processes, and utility coordination
  • Exposure to project management practices and stakeholder coordination
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in business English
  • Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or data center development projects
  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional permitting and land use processes
  • Understanding of construction methods and site development practices
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a collaborative mindset

Location: Remote

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $165K-$175K USD annually. Pay within this range may vary based on geography, experience, skills, and applicable qualifications.
