LVL Superintendent

Kamloops, British Columbia

We are looking for an LVL Superintendent to join our Laminated Veneer Lumber Division, located in Kamloops, British Columbia. Tolko's newest facility is in the early stages of production of Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL). This is an exciting opportunity to continue to grow this team and expand the development of Tolko's newest Engineered Wood product.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Technical experience manufacturing engineered wood products including experience with Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL), finger jointing, CLT, Glulam is a bonus.
  • Proven team leader.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships.
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing change.
  • Strong planning, goal setting and project management skills.
  • A focus on operational excellence and product quality.


In this role you will:
