Position Overview:
The Labour Product Manager will lead Finning's labour product portfolio by owning and executing an industry leading go to market strategy that drives profitable growth of labour services across all major industry verticals in Western Canada. This role is accountable for expanding labour market share, optimizing labour profitability, and ensuring Finning's labour offerings remain competitive, scalable, and aligned with customer needs across Construction, Resources, Power & Energy sectors.
Acting as the enterprise's subject matter expert for labour products and labour based service solutions, the Labour Product Manager will collaborate closely with senior leaders across Sales, Service Operations, Pricing, and Marketing to ensure labour programs are both commercially compelling and operationally executable. The role will also serve as a key liaison with Caterpillar and other strategic partners to ensure alignment on labour strategy, capability development, and market activation.
This position is responsible for developing and deploying a multi year strategic framework that strengthens Finning's labour value proposition, enhances customer loyalty, and drives sustained revenue and market share growth. The Labour Product Manager will leverage data insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to shape labour pricing strategies, workforce capacity planning, and differentiated service offerings that meet evolving market demands.
Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, deep understanding of labour driven service models, and the ability to influence cross functional teams to deliver timely, customer centric labour solutions. The Labour Product Manager will support sales execution teams with strategic guidance, opportunity identification, and labour specific sales enablement tools to accelerate growth. Ultimately, this role ensures Finning's labour products deliver measurable value to customers while meeting or exceeding revenue, profitability, and market share targets.

The Labour Product Manager will be accountable for the following performance outcomes:
Labour Hours Growth: Drive sustained growth in total labour hours across all industries in Western Canada. Ensure labour recovery targets are met or exceeded for all technician additions, maintaining strong utilization and productivity levels.
Increased POLS (Percentage of Labour Sales) by Industry: Grow POLS within each major industry vertical by developing and executing targeted labour strategies.
Support Optimization of Realized Rates: Improve labour mix and labour rates to parts, service, and product offerings to increase overall labour contribution.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Excellence: Execute a defined GTM framework that ensures consistent, disciplined commercial activation across all regions and industries. Demonstrate measurable improvements in sales enablement, opportunity conversion, and labour-specific value proposition adoption.
Additional KPIs Aligned to Labour Product Performance
Market Share Growth: Increase labour market share in alignment with Finning & Caterpillar objectives. Driving incremental part sales through service to support achievement of overall STUs (sales to users) objectives
Profitability: Optimize labour gross profit while supporting top-line revenue growth.
Customer Value Delivery: Improve customer satisfaction and loyalty through differentiated labour solutions and service offerings.
Operational Alignment: Strengthen collaboration with Service Operations to ensure labour capacity, scheduling, and workforce planning support commercial objectives.
