What you will be doing:
- Representing employers in state and federal courts, administrative agencies, arbitration and mediation
- Conducting workplace investigations and witness interviews
- Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, position statements and employment agreements
- Managing discovery, depositions and case strategy
- Advising employers daily on workplace policies, compliance and employee relations
- Building client relationships and developing your own book of business over time
What you need to bring:
- JD from an ABA accredited law school
- Active New York State Bar membership in good standing
- Two to four years of employment defense experience at a law firm
- Courtroom experience representing employers in state and federal courts
- Experience before administrative agencies, mediators or arbitrators
This role is available in New York and Los Angeles.
