Lab Manager (MLT/MT) - Get Well Health Systems

Location: Jeffersonville, Indiana
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Employment: Full-Time
Salary: $80,000-$90,000 annually

Position Summary

Get Well Health Systems is seeking an experienced Lab Manager (MLT/MT) to oversee daily laboratory operations in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The Lab Manager will provide clinical and operational leadership, ensure accurate and timely laboratory testing, maintain regulatory compliance, and support a high-performing laboratory team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily laboratory operations, staffing, scheduling, and workflow.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate laboratory personnel.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality laboratory testing.
  • Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Develop and maintain laboratory policies, procedures, and quality-control programs.
  • Monitor quality assurance and proficiency-testing activities.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Investigate and resolve quality, safety, and operational issues.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, administration, and other departments.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and records for inspections and audits.
  • Promote patient safety, infection control, and laboratory best practices.
