Role Overview:This role is for a hands-on Kubernetes Engineer with deep experience in Kubernetes and OpenShift, coupled with strong knowledge of Prometheus and Splunk. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing reliable applications, driving excellent engineering practices, and ensuring product quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters.
- Perform OpenShift administration or manage equivalent Kubernetes platforms.
- Manage container runtimes effectively.
- Implement observability stacks using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, Splunk, ELK/OpenSearch, or similar.
- Handle log aggregation, metrics collection, and distributed tracing where applicable.
- Apply expertise in Kubernetes networking concepts, including Ingress, Services, CNI plugins, and service mesh.
- Automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
