Korean Bilingual Sr. ERP Consultant (SAP SD module)
Role and Responsibility:
- Provide strategic guidance to users in defining or designing processes to meet customer requirements; document existing customer business processes, identify inefficiencies, recommend system improvements, and provide backup support for SAP consultants as needed.
- Communicate with Samsung HQ for the implementation, management, and optimization of new and existing processes within the SAP Logistics module to support business requirements.
- Provide full support to users across all relevant Samsung Electronics sites in North America; identify and understand end-user technical SAP SD and EDI requirements, deliver necessary training and documentation, and maintain strong professional relationships to ensure ongoing support.
- Monitor and report on the status of system issues, proactively review and interpret performance against operating standards, and provide detailed results and reports.
- Support on-call troubleshooting and resolve critical system issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a functional or business consultant specializing in SAP applications.
- Hands-on functional configuration and design experience in S/4HANA environment.
- Experienced in processing a variety of EDI document types and familiar with EDI standards/architecture.
- Project management experience involving conceptualization, organization, planning, test execution, user training, and documentation of training materials.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), application development dynamics, and IT practices/methods.
- Bilingual (Fluent in both Korean and English - Essential for HQ communication)
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience with standard project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong ABAP debugging skills (highly preferred for system analysis).
- Participation in multiple phases of full-lifecycle SAP implementations.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills exemplified in a team environment.
- Willingness to challenge established practices and propose value-driven conclusions.
- Ability to understand and prioritize customer needs to accomplish target objectives.
- Excellent time management skills aligned with assigned job roles and project timelines
Pay Range: $109,000/year ~ $140,000/year
