Job Description:

The Customer Manager is responsible for achieving profitable sales growth for the Mars Snacking business at Dollar Tree. Specifically, this role will be focused on the Confectionery portion of the Mars Snacking business. This role is expected to maintain strong internal and customer relationships while executing strategic customer plans that deliver revenue, growth, profit, product/assortment, everyday shelving, merchandising, pricing, and promotion objectives

What are we looking for?
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent degree
• 5+ years of experience in sales & marketing preferably within CPG
• 5 years' experience working with key national account preferred
• Prior retail sales and analytical experiences
• Ability to travel 25% of the time
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work from a home office & for weekly live meetings with team and with customers as needed

What would be your key responsibilities?
• Create and execute customer solutions for profitable sales growth for placement and shelving, merchandising & pricing, that achieves customer objectives, category leadership and company objectives
• Work cross-functionally leveraging fact-based insights to influence One Demand partners to create price & pack architecture that profitably accelerates Dollar Tree growth
• Influence customers by implementing solutions through fact-based presentations that deliver results that are mutually beneficial for both customer and company
• Complete new product launches with timely and effective execution to maximize customer impact
• Execute all agreed to solutions with customers to include accurate, timely forecasting and detailed follow through
• Manage customers' trade funds that comply with internal and external requirements and continually improve effectiveness of spending
• Provide customers with category information & make recommendations for category growth, bring customer feedback & potential solutions to internal team.

Location

This is a field-based remote Sales position required to be east of the Mississippi River with preference for Chicago or Cincinnati

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the below range, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay & general allowances (depending on the position and employee's work schedule). Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable policies and plans then in effect, and depending on the position offered and the employee's work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule), eligible employees are automatically enrolled in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents, and may be eligible to take up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave. Employees will also receive the following paid-time off (which may be prorated based on start date and the employee's work schedule): 120 hours of vacation per year, paid sick time for eligible Associates of 100% pay continuation for a maximum of 40 hours per calendar year, and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year that include both fixed and flexible holidays.
