Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Kafka Testing and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Proficiency in API Testing with REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong test automation skills with Java, Selenium, Cucumber BDD, Karate Framework, and REST Assured.
• Experience with various databases including Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, and DB2.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience in logging and monitoring with Splunk.
• Proficient in test documentation and using Jira and Confluence for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test frameworks for Angular UI, RESTful microservices, and event-driven systems with Kafka.
• Create and maintain end-to-end, integration, functional, regression, and performance test suites.
• Automate validation processes for Kafka producers/consumers and asynchronous workflows.
• Perform thorough database testing, including schema validation and data integrity checks in MongoDB.
• Collaborate with developers during code reviews to enhance testability.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for streamlined delivery.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and issues in production environments.
