Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Kafka Testing & Event-Driven Architecture
• Proficient in API Testing, specifically REST APIs & Microservices
• Expertise in Test Automation using Java, Selenium, Cucumber BDD, Karate Framework, and REST Assured
• Experience with Backend & Database Testing across platforms like Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, and DB2
• Familiar with CI/CD & DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git
• Experience using API tools like Postman, Swagger, and SoapUI
• Solid understanding of performance testing concepts and accessibility testing

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test frameworks for various platforms including Angular UI and RESTful microservices
• Create end-to-end, integration, functional, regression, and performance test suites
• Automate validation processes for Kafka producers/consumers and asynchronous workflows
• Perform database testing including schema validation and data integrity in MongoDB
• Collaborate with developers to enhance code testability and quality
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and production issues
