Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Analyst to support a backend development team working on complex financial systems within the mortgage services industry. This role combines product analysis, technical collaboration, and data analysis to drive product enhancements and maintain critical loan servicing and origination platforms.
We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!.

This role is located at a client site in either Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Analyst to support a backend development team working on complex financial systems within the mortgage services industry. This role combines product analysis, technical collaboration, and data analysis to drive product enhancements and maintain critical loan servicing and origination platforms.
The Product Analyst will partner closely with business stakeholders, engineers, and cross-functional teams to define requirements, manage product backlogs, and ensure alignment across initiatives. This role requires the ability to translate mortgage and financial business requirements into actionable technical solutions while maintaining a strong understanding of system architecture, data flows, and regulatory considerations.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in Agile environments, backend systems, and AWS-based platforms, along with the ability to analyze large datasets to inform product decisions. Experience working with mortgage servicing, loan origination systems (LOS), or related financial platforms is highly valued.
This position includes both new product development and enhancements to existing systems that support core mortgage operations such as loan processing, servicing, and compliance reporting.
This is a hybrid role based in Reston, VA, requiring three days per week onsite.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 5+ years of experience working as a Product Analyst or Business/Product Systems Analyst, preferably within financial services or mortgage environments
. Experience supporting systems related to mortgage servicing, loan origination, or financial transaction processing (preferred)
. Ability to lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and user story development
. Proven ability to facilitate discussions with business stakeholders and technical teams, including finance, operations, and compliance partners
. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain business needs and technical requirements
. Experience performing data analysis using SQL and Excel
. Solid understanding of ETL pipelines and data flow processes, especially within financial data ecosystems
. Experience working with backend systems and APIs
. Familiarity with API integrations
. Experience with AWS services and cloud-based architectures
. Experience working with Salesforce (preferred)
. Ability to consolidate and analyze data from multiple data sources including: Oracle SQL Server Sybase MS Access
. Comfortable working with complex datasets with highly interconnected relationships, including loan, borrower, and transaction data
. Experience supporting maintenance, enhancements, and new feature development in regulated financial environments
. Strong understanding of Agile development practices

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical field

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $95,800.00 - $136,400.00.
