Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed review comments on contractor-generated schedules based on LAUSD templates.
  • Assist in developing schedule-related reports using Excel and Primavera P6.
  • Create Earned Value Curves in accordance with LAUSD EVA guidelines.
  • Conduct QA/QC on contractors' schedule submissions for contract compliance.
  • Analyze schedules to ensure proper use of standard codes and data integrity.
  • Perform QA/QC on Primavera P6 program schedules to validate logic ties and adherence to guidelines.
  • Update the master program schedule with as-built dates, collaborating with Facilities teams on projected timelines.
Full Job Description
Duties:
  • Work under the supervision of Senior Schedulers and Project Schedulers to provide construction schedule review comments for contractor-generated Baseline Schedules and Monthly Schedule updates based on LAUSD review templates.
  • Assist the scheduling team in creating and populating various schedule related reports in Excel and P6 software.
  • Create Earned Value Curves based on LAUSD EVA template guidelines.
  • Perform QA/QC on contractors' schedule submittals for conformance with contract scope and requirements.
  • Analyze schedules for proper use of program level standard codes, layouts and reports necessary to ensure data integrity.
  • Perform QA/QC on P6 program schedules and validate logic ties to ensure conformance with scheduling guidelines for various project types.
  • Update the master program schedule with as-built start and finish dates while coordinating input from various Facilities teams on projected/forecast sequential start/finish dates.

Minimum Requirements
Required Experience:

  • One (1) year full-time paid professional experience responsible in Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably on multiple educational facilities or public works projects.


Required Education:
  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, engineering, or construction management


Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version (P6 v19) and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff
  • Superior organizational and planning skills

Salary dependent on education and experience. Salary range: $110K-$130K
