Overview

SUMMARY:

The Junior Program Analyst will work directly with the Government personnel in meeting the program analyst needs of the project.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists program leaders as they scan the business environment to identify potential issues that may impact the quality of services, interfere with the organization's ability to manage its risks, and/or create opportunities to address these issues more effectively.
• Tracks cost, schedule, and percent completion for assigned task orders.
• Monitors burn rates against budgetary expectations.
• Prepares cost vs. schedule variance reports for each task order and informs management and the Government when budget exceeds 75%, 90%, 100% of allocated funds, or upon reaching other thresholds as required.
• Creates initial task order entry into the task order tracking module of TEBS.
• Archives entries upon task order completion.
• Creates long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adheres to deadlines.
• Makes effective recommendations when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
• Serves as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
• Communicates with leadership on progress of project.
• Adjusts schedules and targets on the project as needs or budgets change.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSURE:
• BA/BS Degree in Business Administration, Technical Management, or a related field from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience performing assignments in a professional work environment.
• Understanding of project coordination principles.
• Demonstrated data analysis skills, with the ability to gather, organize, and interpret data from various sources following prescribed methods.
• Proficiency in developing cost estimates and performing basic financial calculations under supervision.
• Demonstrated technical writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely using established templates.
• Familiarity with test planning and reporting processes.
• Demonstrated statistical analysis skills, with the ability to compile and interpret data using basic office software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated organizational and communication skills to effectively support the T&E team under supervision.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with T&E teams.
• Prior experience working in a project management or program support role within a military or government environment preferred.
• Experience supporting T&E environments preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

May require lifting up to 25 pounds.

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE:

DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:

As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.

$83,200+/annually
