GXM Technologies is seeking a
Junior Program Analyst to join our team in supporting a Federal Government program focused on advancing innovation, strengthening portfolio performance, and enabling data-driven decision-making. This position is based in Washington, DC and requires on-site work five days per week, with local and occasional nationwide travel to support client events as needed.
The Junior Program Analyst provides programmatic, analytical, and administrative support across multiple functional areas, including stakeholder engagement, training, communications, financial analysis, portfolio management, and risk assessment. Working with the direction of the Deputy Project Lead and Senior Program Analysts, this position supports day-to-day program operations while gaining experience across a variety of program management disciplines. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced, high-intensity Federal program support environment.
Qualified candidates will be interviewed in-person at the GXM Arlington office. Selected candidates will be fingerprinted andsubmitted for a background check prior to onboarding. Key Responsibilities - Support program management activities across multiple functional areas based on project priorities and workload.
- Assist with stakeholder outreach, communications, training, and event coordination activities.
- Support meetings, webinars, conferences, and other stakeholder engagement events by coordinating logistics, materials, and follow-up activities.
- Develop educational materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough research, collect and organize data, and assist with preparing reports, presenting findings, supporting presentations by key leaders, and developing briefing materials.
- Assist with maintaining project documentation, tracking tools, meeting minutes, and action items.
- Support financial, portfolio, or risk management activities, as assigned by project leadership.
- Maintain organized records and documentation in accordance with Federal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with project team members and Government stakeholders to support program objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of contract objectives.
Requirements
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Political Science, Education, Management, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience, or comparable education experience, supporting program management, communications, stakeholder engagement, research, event coordination, financial analysis, or administrative support.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to take ownership over activities, make sound recommendations and follow- through based on client decisions.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Co-Pilot, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting Federal Government programs or contracts.
- Experience coordinating meetings, webinars, conferences, or training events.
- Experience preparing reports, presentations, newsletters, or other communications.
- Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, CRM solutions (SalesForce) or other collaboration and reporting tools.
- Interest or experience in financial analysis, portfolio management, risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, or program operations.
$80,000 - $120,000 salary + annual bonus eligibility + medical/dental/vision/STD/LTD/Life + 401(k) + PTO
