Full Job Description
Junior Producer (US)

Location: New York (Hybrid)

Reports to: US Producer

Salary: $90k-$110k, plus equity banding
The Role

We're looking for a sharp, high-agency Junior Producer to own the day-to-day running of projects on our growing slate. This is a client-facing role: you'll be the main point of contact for clients, the person who represents Wonder externally, and the translator who turns a client's creative vision into clear direction for our production teams - and back again.

You'll need a strong grasp of post-production workflows, a calm head under pressure, and the instinct to keep creative momentum moving without waiting to be told. You'll be involved at every stage of a project - from pitching and conception through production and final delivery - keeping things on track, on budget, and clearly communicated across every stakeholder.

You'll work closely with the US Producer and the UK Production team across a mix of AI-native short films, commercials and brand campaigns, music videos, and hybrid productions that combine live-action shoots with generative and traditional VFX. You'll also support longer-form feature projects that build out AI-VFX workflows. This is a hybrid role based in our New York office, with strong potential for growth into senior production leadership.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients day-to-day - managing expectations, communicating progress, and representing Wonder's standards and values in every interaction
  • Translate client creative direction into actionable briefs for Creative Technologists, Creative Directors, editors, designers, and wider crew - and translate production realities back to clients clearly and proactively
  • Own production workflows across multiple projects at once: budgets, timelines, schedules, assets, and delivery, from kick-off to final handoff
  • Build, track, and manage budgets and cost reports
  • Help construct and manage VFX post-production workflows for longer-form hybrid feature projects within our IP slate
  • Contribute to pitch deck development and client proposals
  • Manage the administrative backbone of a project - paperwork, folder structures, delivery formats - so nothing falls through the cracks
  • Act as an ambassador for Wonder's values and community, both internally and externally
You Should Have
  • At least 4 years of experience in producing or post-production management, ideally in film, advertising, or branded content
  • Confidence managing client relationships directly, including navigating feedback and expectations under tight timelines
  • An understanding of and/or genuine interest in GenAI tools and workflows
  • Strong familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Canva, and Apple systems
  • A clear, proactive communication style - you flag problems before they become fires
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly as priorities shift
  • A positive, can-do attitude and genuine comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy
Bonus Points For
  • Hands-on experience with AI production tools (Runway, Seedance, etc.)
  • A design background or a strong eye for visual storytelling
  • On-set producing experience
  • Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced creative environment
  • Experience with budgeting software (e.g., Saturation, Movie Magic)
