  • Submit data reports to the Compliance team for DOE and UC reporting requirements.
  • Perform initial analysis to identify trends, correlations, and patterns in structured and unstructured data.
  • Maintain clear documentation of data definitions, analysis methodologies, and reporting processes to ensure data integrity across the organization.

  • Experience (through coursework or projects) using SQL to query databases and Excel for advanced data manipulation (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
  • Internships, capstone projects, or a verifiable portfolio that demonstrates the ability to handle real-world data.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL (joins, subqueries, and data cleaning).
  • Familiarity with programming languages for data analysis
  • Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio).
  • The ability to break down a complex problem into smaller, manageable parts and approach it with a logical, step-by-step methodology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
  • An obsessive eye for accuracy-ensuring that the "small numbers" add up before they reach the final report.
  • A "growth mindset" and a willingness to learn new tools and industries as the company's data needs evolve.
  • Ability to interpret data, conduct analysis, and provide actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of methods to research, interpret, analyze, compile, and present data and information
