What is the Opportunity?

Reporting to the Project Manager, Continuous Improvement, the Junior Project Manager provides project and initiative management support to the Nuclear Continuous Improvement team. The role is responsible for managing small to medium scale projects and initiatives from intake through close-out, supporting the delivery of CI priorities under the direction of the Project Manager. This position requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, applying foundational project management practices while exercising sound judgment within defined parameters and escalating risks and issues as appropriate. The Junior Project Manager may support or co-lead initiatives across multiple workstreams as directed by the Project Manager, including coordinating cross-functional teams, maintaining project artifacts, and driving day-to-day execution to ensure deliverables are met on time and within scope.

What You'll Do Here:
  • Lead and manage assigned projects and initiatives from planning through execution and close-out, ensuring delivery is aligned to scope, timelines, and expected outcomes.
  • Define and maintain project approach, priorities, and execution plans, ensuring clarity across all stakeholders and team members.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive progress, resolve challenges, and maintain alignment on objectives.
  • Provide direction, oversight, and task prioritization to supporting team members, including senior coordinators, ensuring quality and consistency of outputs.
  • Review and validate outputs, analysis, and recommendations provided by supporting resources to ensure alignment with project objectives and intended outcomes.
  • Facilitate project meetings and working sessions, ensuring discussions are structured, decisions are made, and actions are clearly defined and completed.
  • Monitor overall project performance, including progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, and take action to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Escalate risks, issues, or decisions appropriately, providing context and recommended actions to leadership.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through regular communication, updates, and alignment on priorities and deliverables.
  • Support financial tracking activities, including coordinating inputs related to budgets, forecasts, or time tracking where required.
  • Drive consistency in how projects are delivered by reinforcing standard approaches, expectations, and ways of working across initiatives.
  • Support rollout and implementation activities by ensuring execution plans are coordinated and completed effectively.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Translate stakeholder inputs and business needs into clear, structured outputs that support project teams and decision-making.

  • Strong understanding of project management principles and experience managing projects or initiatives from start to finish.

The expected pay range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 per year
