The Opportunity:
CACI is currently seeking a Journeyman Scientist and Science Technicianin support of a program whose initiative is aimed at combating evolving and emerging threats, supporting related exploitation and replication activities, and advancing operational rehearsal, exercise, wargaming, and counter system development. Additionally, we are focusing on integration and experimentation, including Modeling and Simulation.

This position will apply established data science methodologies to critical mission requirements, supporting the development and refinement of analytical models for DoD simulation environments. The ideal candidate will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) training exercises and operational planning initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Apply established data science methodologies to mission-critical requirements in support of Army M26S programs
Fine-tune existing predictive models to improve accuracy for specific mission sets, such as predictive maintenance for fleet readiness
Acquire, process, and interpret structured and unstructured datasets to extract actionable insights
Develop custom analytical pipelines and tools to support M26S and AI systems
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure data integrity for complex simulations
Support the full data lifecycle including data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting
Participate in the development of data-driven solutions for simulation analysis workflows
Work with DoD M26S environments and toolsets to translate data into meaningful analytical conclusions
Support 24/7 operations during exercises and events as required
Maintain documentation and provide technical reports IAW contract requirements
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
Minimum Experience: 3 years
5 years relevant experience in lieu of degree
Active TS/SCI clearance
Desired:
Master's degree highly valued
Experience with DoD Modeling & Simulation environments (e.g., JLVC, JTLS-GO, OneSAF, WARSIM)
Familiarity with military operations, exercises, or DoD mission sets
Experience with machine learning frameworks and AI analysis workflows
Knowledge of big data platforms and cloud computing architectures
Experience supporting Army or Joint training exercises
Understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$69,100-$141,500
