Full Job Description
Applied Research Solutions is seeking a Journeyman Test Manager to support critical Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) programs at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, MA. This position will support test planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation activities while working closely with government and contractor teams to ensure program requirements are effectively validated and delivered.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain test plans, procedures, schedules, and supporting documentation.
  • Plan and manage test activities throughout the system development and acquisition lifecycle.
  • Coordinate test events with government stakeholders, program offices, engineering teams, contractors, and other supporting organizations.
  • Track test requirements, objectives, schedules, resources, and deliverables to support successful test execution.
  • Support the development and review of test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate test readiness activities and assist in identifying and resolving issues that may affect test execution.
  • Monitor and document test results, discrepancies, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare test reports, briefings, status updates, and other documentation for government and program leadership.
  • Maintain test documentation and ensure test results are accurately recorded and traceable to applicable requirements.
  • Participate in technical reviews, integrated product team meetings, test planning sessions, and program status meetings.
  • Coordinate with engineering and program management teams to ensure test activities align with program requirements and milestones.
  • Identify test risks, dependencies, and resource requirements and communicate potential impacts to program leadership.
  • Support the development and implementation of test strategies, methodologies, and processes.
  • Assist with the analysis of test data and results to determine whether requirements and performance objectives have been met.
  • Ensure test activities are conducted in accordance with applicable program, organizational, and DoD policies and procedures.
  • Will perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Test Management, Test Engineering, Systems Engineering, Program Management, or a related field.
  • Experience developing and managing test plans, procedures, schedules, and test documentation.
  • Experience coordinating test activities across multiple technical and programmatic organizations.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition, systems engineering, and testing processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with government and contractor personnel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to develop clear, concise technical documentation and communicate test status and results to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting NC3 programs or other mission-critical systems is a plus.


The expected annual salary range: $115k - $122k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
