ResponsibilitiesPeraton is looking for a Subject Matter Expert to join our team at our Ft. Meade, MD location. This is a full-time onsite opportunity.
Peraton is seeking someone who possesses a technical understanding of the lifecycle of the network threats, attack vectors, and network vulnerability exploitation as the Joint Operations Center (JOC) Lead.
You will be required to identify gaps and overlaps across existing DODIN Operations (DODIN OPS) and DCO technical capabilities. In addition, you will report statistics and issues to customer leadership.
You will conduct reviews and provide comments on technical materials consisting of, but not limited to, technical documentation and reports, cyber policy and procedures, and planning materials.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the identified area of expertise to include:
- Guiding of specific programs and projects relating to the subject matter.
- Providing expert support, analysis, and research of complex problems and processes relating to the subject matter.
- Serving as a technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives.
- Developing technical solutions to complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications: - A minimum of DoD 8570/8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III certification (CISA, CCISO, CISM, CISSP)
- Experience working at a Joint or Component Command Level
- Performed the duties of as an Operations Center Battle Captain and/or JOC Director at USCYBERCOM, or another Joint Task Force/Unified Combatant Command JPME Level II
Target Salary Range$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
